1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how VB Anatomy Academy (vbanatomy.com) collects and uses personal data when you browse the site, register for the webinar, sign up for the membership, or buy flashcard access.
2. What we collect
- Contact details — name, email address and mobile/WhatsApp number, when you register for the webinar, contact us, or buy flashcards or the membership.
- Location — only if you give it to us directly, for example when asked for your city/country on a form.
- Payment information — we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. These are collected and processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay, under their own privacy and security terms.
- Technical data — basic, non-identifying data such as browser type and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the site working and secure.
3. How we use it
- To give you access to what you've paid for (flashcards, membership) and to let you sign back in later.
- To send you the webinar link, reminders, or updates you've asked for, including over WhatsApp.
- To reply to questions sent through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations, and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with:
- Razorpay, to process flashcard payments and verify a payment went through.
- Our membership platform, to give you access to the video library you've subscribed to.
- Service providers who help run the site (e.g. hosting, database), under obligations to keep your data secure.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only if we are legally required to.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and payment records for as long as your access is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
6. Cookies
The site uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop sending you messages, at any time by writing to vbanatomy.main@gmail.com.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, including restricting who can access it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep risk as low as possible.
9. Children
Our content is aimed at medical and allied-health students and is not directed at children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do.
